As I was pouring pasta into boiling water I saw a small black bug. I quickly scooped it up and threw it out. Can I eat the noodles (no other bugs) and does anything need to be kashered?

Since pasta is usually considered clean, and it was only one bug the food is not considered suspect to having bugs and may still be eaten. It is a good idea though that you watch what you are eating, to make sure that there is nothing else in there. the pots etc. are all still kosher as the bug doesn’t give off a good taste, and it is miniscule in comparison to the rest of the food in the pot.
