It depends on how it is done. If you are just making them a little shorter than the black ones, so that the white one can hide inside the black ones, although there is controversy about this, there are poskim to rely upon. However, if “trimming” means that you basically are cutting away the hair so that now it isn’t noticeable, then it would be considered lo tilbash.
