Pool Area Beis hamirchatz?

Question:

Can one speak or think in torah in a pool, wearing a bathing suit without a yarmalka?
Can one speak or think in learning at the pool area while wearing a Yarmalka and just a bathing suit?
Can one spaek or think in learning in the Sauna which is a seperate room to the pool? (wearing a Yarmalka)
Thank you!

Answer:

Hello,

One may thinking in torah even if he isn’t have a yarmulka, however speaking torah must be done with a head covering. An outdoor swimming pool is not a place that has steam or dirt, therefore when you have a yarmulka on. This is also do to the fact that everyone there is wearing a bathing suit and there isn’t any uncovered ervah. When making a bracha however it is proper, when saying a bracha to cover yourself better than just a bathing suit.

A sauna is a place that has alot of steam, and would be considered like a bathroom, and one should not talk or think in torah there.

Best wishes
