Question:
I made vows that I feel might have been due to OCD, but I want to keep them so as not to sin. I would like them annulled though. Do I just find three men (Jewish men) and state that I do not want to keep my vows any longer. And if I knew what I know today I would not have made them.
1. Not to dye my hair (I was afraid of allergic reaction even though I’m not allergic)
2. Not to eat peanuts, coconut or tree nuts (I was afraid of allergic reaction even though I’m not allergic)
Answer:
One of the three people should know the laws of annulling vows, this is why it was suggested that you go to a Rov that knows these halachot.
