I made French macaroons on parchment paper in a parve oven. I accidently used a fleishig pan that hasn’t been used for meat in a while. Can I put cream cheese on the macaroon?
Yes you can. Food that one plans on eating together with milk should not be cooked in a meaty pan, however if it was already cooked and the pan was not used in the last 24hrs. the food may be eaten together with milk. This is because the taste in the meaty pan is considered stale, (eino ben yomo) and won’t impart a good taste, together with the fact that the taste went from the meaty food to the pan and now from the pan to the pareve food.
