Brachos on mitzvos in the Beis HaMikdash

Question:

Were Brachos recited on mitzvos in the Beis HaMikdash, like lighting the Menorah, or burning incense?

Answer:

There were numerous brachos that were aid when performing mitzvos. Here are a few;

אשר קדשנו בקדושתו של אהרן וצונו על קבלת דם העולה בכלי,

אשר קדשנו בקדושתו של אהרן וצונו להקטיר האברים על האש,

בא”י אמ”ה אש”ק בקש”א וצונו על ההולכה

בא”י אמ”ה אקבש”א וצונו לזרוק דם החטאת

בא”י אמ”ה אקבש”א וצונו להקטיר אימורי חטאת

בא”י אמ”ה אקבש”א וצונו לאכול בשר החטאת

When brnging the incense the Kohen said a bracha אשר קדשנו במצותיו וצונו על מצות הקטורת and when he light the Menora he said אקב”ו להדליק נר בביהמ”ק.
