I was frying onions, lentils and rice in a milky skillet and accidentally stirred the mixture with a meaty silicone spatula. Both the skillet and the spatula had not been used for any cooking for a least two weeks prior. What is the status of the spatula, the skillet and the food?
Answer:
Needless to say we don’t things like this l’chatchila, however in retrospect, since both the skillet and spatula were not used in morethan 24 hours, they will not make the other item milky or meaty. Therefore there is no need to kasher anything and the food may be eaten.
