My wife tends to start to have discharge closer to her nidda days usually a few days before. many times it looks brownish but its hard to tell on many colors if its brown or leaning to red or even red. If its far smaller than a gris must I be poresh? many times it is found late at night when i can no longer bring it to a rabbi?

It does’t sound problematic because you said that it is less than a gris and it was found on colored clothing. (If it was found on a tissue after wiping herself, then it is not as clear.) Therefore you do not have to be poresh, but just make sure that it isn’t during the time of a veses.
