If the Tallis Katan absorbed too much water…

Question:

It was very / quite heavily raining where I saw staying last Friday. And a good acquaintance of mine asked me a question:
The only Tallis Katan got wet through and through. And it was decided not to don it on… Was it the right and correct decision? Before going to Kabbalat Shabbat prayer in Beit Knesset? Two questions:

1.
If the Tallis Katan is wet – should it be put on, or not?
2.
If the only Tallis Katan is wet and slightly soiled – should it be put on, or not?

Answer:

If it is not too difficult then it should be worn, and even regarding Shabbos if he wishes he may wear them. Regarding doning a wet garment on Shabbos, if the person doesn’t have another garment that can be worn, he may even put it on, on Shabbos.
