Is an air fryer that was used over 24 hrs ago and cleaned well, was then used for paariv, is the dish (ie potatoes) considered fleishig equipment or can it be eaten with cheese? Thanks

Hello,
According to the Sefardi minhag it is permitted. however according to the Ashkenazi minhag, if it was already cooked in the air fryer, it may be eaten even together with cheese. This is because it is an aino ben yomo, (the taste is older than a day, and is therefore considered stale) and the absorbed taste is nat bar nat. The food, however, should not be cooked with the intention of eating it with cheese, unless you don’t have any other pot to cook in.
