When I make my baby a bottle on Shabbos the procedure is as follows:
1) I first wash out the bottle with hot water as it has been sterilized with ‘Milton tablets.
2) I then put previously boiled cold water in the bottle and add hot water from the Shabbos urn.
I would like to know the following:
When I take water from a Shabbos kettle first to wash out the bottle and then to add to the cold water to make the bottle how many keilim are needed?

Hello,
Milton tablets sterilize in cold uncooked water, therefore the leftover water in the bottle would be subject to meleches bishul. Instead of pouring water directly from the kettle into the bottle or on to the cold water, pour water from the kettle into a dry cup, and then into the bottle. This way even if the water in the bottle has not been cooked, it is iruy kli sheini, and it will not cook the water, even if it is uncooked. This would also apply to the previously cooked water which has already cooled down totally. It is still subject to bishul, if the water is poured directly from the urn and the water in the bottle will become yad soledes bo. Therefore, this should be done in all three instances that you are asking
