I have seen some people use this form of protein in their coffee. It is kosher, but is made from bovine collagen. Does it have the status of meat, and would it therefore not be acceptable to use with milk, and would make a person fleishig?




The minhag is to consider it pareve due to the aggressive processing that is used to isolate and purify the collagen
