My husband heated bread up in a fleishig oven and straight from the oven used a pareve knife to cut up his very hot bread. Is the knife treif?
Answer:
The knife is definitely not treif, in the worst event it would be fleishig. If the bread was put in the oven on a rack that was dirty from fleishig oil, the bread will not make the knife that cut it fleishig. Therefore, you knife is still pareve.
