I live in a ground floor apt. I built a room in my yard with a wooden roof.
The height extends halfway through the space between me and my upstairs neighbor. Now he wants to pour concrete on my roof to build a room above me. Because I used half the space, his additional room will require a step up to accommodate the amount of concrete he needs to pour. Do I have to lower my wooden roof to allow him his room without the step?
A question of this type needs to be presented to a Rov by both sides at the same time. If you would like, you and your neighbor can make a conference call to the bais Horaah bet. 1:40- 3:30 Sunday -Thurday, at 02-502-3637 ext. 2 to talk to a dayan about this.
