Washing Pareve Dishes

Question:

If one has a dairy sink & a meat sink, where & how exactly should these pareve dishes be washed? Ok to place pareve dishes inside sink? Is there any benefit to placing a rack in the sink?

Answer:

They can be washed in any of the sinks, however they should be washed when the sink is clean of milky or meaty dishes. There is no need to place a rack in the sink. The reason why it is different than a sink that is used for both milk and meat, is because the sink can absorb the hot grease of he milk and meat, and would then be trief. However when the sink is only used for meat, even though the sink absorbs the meaty grease, it is considered nat bar nat, ( a dobly absorbed taste) of a permitted item, which will not make anything trief.

Best wishes
